Warm air for insulated, medium-height spaces.

Indoor or outdoor air is heated through unit heaters or warm-air generators. The economical investment for insulated buildings 4–6 m tall. Above 6 m we add destratifiers for up to 30% savings.

Warm air heats the entire volume at once, ideal for logistics halls, garages and workshops with a well-insulated envelope. Above 6 m the warm air pools beneath the roof, so we recommend destratifiers to bring the accumulated heat back into the occupied zone.

Lower investment than radiant systems

A gas unit heater is the lower-cost option for insulated spaces that need a uniform temperature across the whole volume.

Fast heating response

The fan helps distribute the heat and reaches target temperature faster than radiant at the same volume.

Modulating burners for fresh-air introduction

When tempered fresh air is required, modulating gas burners adjust output to outdoor temperature and keep the supply temperature constant.

Destratification above 6 m

Destratifier fans return the ceiling-pooled warm air to the occupied zone. With the standardised CEE forms (IND-BA-110, BAT-TH-142) the gain is up to 30%.

Exhaust compensation

With high extraction rates we balance the inlet so the hall keeps a slight depression, cold infiltration is prevented and supply velocity and temperature stay under control.

Horizontal or ceiling mounting

MH (horizontal), MC (ceiling centrifugal) and MV (vertical) models cover different building architectures and installation constraints.

02Approach

Layout adapted to the geometry of the space.

The number and placement of unit heaters are calculated from the building heat losses, fresh-air rate and ceiling height. For logistics halls with high air exchange we cross-check the overall balance against extraction and tempered make-up units.

For buildings with high operating hours we recommend modulating gas burners with electronic ignition and ionisation flame monitoring. The result is low consumption and a long heat-exchanger service life.
